About College

Sharadchandra Arts, Commerce & Science College is an aided college affiliated with Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. Established in 1984, Sharad Chandra Arts, Commerce & Science College in Naigaon aims to provide higher education opportunities to rural youths, especially boys and girls from farming backgrounds in and around Naigaon. The late Shree Balwantrao Amritrao Chavan, founder of the Education Society in Naigaon, Dist. Nanded, along with well-wishers of the Society, took the initiative to establish this college.
Naigaon, an agricultural town situated on the border of Telangana state, lies on the outskirts of Nanded, often referred to as the Seat of Education. This college plays a crucial role in offering higher education to young boys and girls who might find it challenging to access Nanded for their academic pursuits.
With over 28 years of history, our college has carved a distinct place in the minds of citizens. The institution offers three faculties: Arts, Commerce, and Science. Our college boasts a well-furnished building, fully equipped laboratories, and a comprehensively stocked library. The college holds the coveted 2(f) and 12(B) statuses under the UGC Act. In September 2017, the college received accreditation from NAAC with a "B" grade, further attesting to our commitment to quality education and overall development.
